First Day

Sooo its first the day in Spain and i'm already lost. I sat in the airport for two and a half hours waiting for Ben who was suppose to meet me in the airport an hour after me. Needless to say Ben (sleeping beauty) fell asleep (next to his terminal) at the Munich airport and missed his flight. So my first experience in Spain (with virtually no Spanish under my belt) was to try to figure out how to use the pay phones to figure out where he or anyone was. RIGHT so lesson one: pay phones are not the same here as they are in the states, lesson two: knowing the language of a foreign country while being in that foreign country is very helpful WHEN lost, so then after being in the airport for three hours i decided to learn lesson three: cab drivers in Barcelona are no different than in the states they don't speak English and they never know where your trying to go! Finally after a 30 euro cab fair i saw the first American familiar faces all morning, Meg, Bob, and Tom. They were waiting for us at the studio which is where lesson four comes into play, when the school tells you that your studio is in the GHETTO well the broncs never looked so good. By now i was starving but thank goodness for the beer and croissants breakfast in Munich, because that was the only meal i would have till 10 that night. Damn those Germans shur know what they're doing.
